The advertising strategy I employed differed per platform.For example, on Facebook and Instagram I used an automated ads campaign for broad targeting and scaling. I also used manual ads campaigns for interest targeting and ads testing. I tested all elements of an ad in the manual campaigns including the header, copy, CTA and creative. I also tested different interest targeting options within various ad sets. The successful ads were copied over to the automated campaign for solely scaling purposes. I would also keep successful ads running in successful ad sets in order to achieve a lower CPI than the automated campaign. These ads and ad sets were scaled as long as the CPI was lower than the automated campaign.The majority of the ad creatives commissioned were 10-20 second video ads. They highlighted the prospect's problem and provided a solution. These ad creatives matched the branding guidelines perfectly to reduce user friction. A minority of the ad creatives I produced were UGC-style videos. These ad creatives were mostly implemented on TikTok and Snap.
The results of the advertising campaign were significant. I was able to scale the paid social spend by 2000% while simultaneously reducing the cost per install by 70%. This led to several five-figure campaigns and a significant increase in app installs for Nude Finance.
This case study demonstrates the effectiveness of well-managed advertising campaigns across multiple social platforms. By focusing on separating campaign purposes and testing all elements of ads, I was able to achieve significant growth in ad spend and a significant reduction in cost per install. This ultimately led to increased app installs for Nude Finance, helping the FinTech app to achieve its overall growth objectives.

To achieve these objectives, the following steps were taken:1. Internal operations were revamped by streamlining client sprint models, transitioning the team from Wrike to the more user-friendly Monday.com, and creating extensive SOP and training documentation to ensure the team were working in an optimal manner.2. External operations were revamped by identifying more relevant client touchpoints, creating client-facing views of the sprints and transitioning the production team to frame.io for a more streamlined feedback system.3. A branding revamp was undertaken, which included the onboarding of external design resources, scoping out the branding revamp project and working closely with the designer to ensure deadlines were met.4. The company began transitioning to a SaaS business model, which involved working with an external development team to create wireframes for potential web and mobile apps. Again, project scoping and management were required to ensure delivery.5. Performance tracking was overhauled by implementing a complex Monday.com dashboard that tracked estimated time vs time tracked, which allowed management to predict where performance may hinder and make adjustments. I also held 1-2-1 meetings with all employees to ensure they were equipped to succeed.
The project was a success and resulted in several key outcomes:
1. Internal and external operations were streamlined, resulting in increased efficiency, productivity and client happiness.2. The branding revamp helped to define the company's new direction and aided fundraising pitches.3. The overhauled performance tracking system helped to improve the performance of the company's 8 team members.
